RESIDENCY
Obtain your Residency NOW!!
Home to over 200 different nationalities, Dubai is a cosmopolitan safe haven that stands for inclusion, diversity and security.
The UAE is one of the world’s safest countries with a law enforcement system that showcases years of development and foresight, resulting in low crime rates.
Dubai is a direct flight away from 240 countries, so rest assured, your home-away-home helps you stay connected to everything that matters.
There are 100 airlines flying from Dubai to 240 airports around the world.
UAE residency is obtained either by being employed, setting up your own company or investing in property in the UAE. Once you are resident, you then need to demonstrate adequate substance in the UAE in order to become a fiscal resident.
STABLE CURRENCY
The UAE Dirham has been pegged to the US Dollar since 1973 and set at a constant rate since 1997.
Dubai is free from Income Tax for residents with no Value Added Tax (VAT) levied on residential property for investors. Additionally, the UAE remains an exceedingly tax-efficient jurisdiction, with the recent introduction of a federal corporate tax applying primarily to larger businesses, ensuring a competitive environment for smaller enterprises.
At Tajnes, we have developed our UAE Residency Package, which is unique to the region and includes everything we know our clients will need to successfully establish a presence in the UAE, either professionally or personally.
HOW TO BE TAX RESIDNECE
Substance is the collection of sufficient evidence required by both the tax authorities, as well as financial institutions to demonstrate that the country you are claiming as your “fiscal home” (and thus your fiscal residency) is indeed where you have substantial interests. A proper employment (a double benefit if at your own UAE company), maintaining a personal current account (on which salary payments are made and from which local expenses are deducted), a local phone number, a local mailing address and of course a place of accommodation, would build a strong case of substance and legitimacy.
Finally, having the above in place gives you eligibility to apply for a UAE Personal Tax Certificate. The tax certificate is proof that you have met the UAE’s criteria for fiscal residency and declares that you are a resident in the UAE for tax purposes.
“Dubai will never settle for anything less than first place.”
