Branding and marketing for companies starting in the UAE
A clear name, logo and message make every other step easier, from your trade-name application to your first client. We build brand identities and marketing plans for new UAE companies in English and Arabic, with open-book costs.
Start with a brand that can be licensed and remembered
In the UAE your trade name must follow official naming rules, and it is wise to check that it is available as a trademark and a domain before you print anything. We align your brand with your licence application so you do not have to rename later.
Then we design an identity that looks right in both Arabic and English, on a shop front, a website and a WhatsApp profile, and we turn it into a simple marketing plan you can actually run.

- Name meanings checked in Arabic to avoid unwanted associations
- Signage artwork with Arabic text, prepared for permit approval where required
- Copy written by native speakers, not machine translation
A digital presence clients can trust
Most UAE clients will look you up on Google, Instagram or WhatsApp before they call.

- Google Business Profile with your verified address
- WhatsApp Business profile, catalogue and quick replies
- Simple monthly reports on what is working
How branding costs are split
Branding is mostly creative work, so most of your cost is our fee. Anything made, printed, filmed or advertised by someone else is shown as its own line, so you always see where your money goes.
The strategy and design work our team does for you, as fixed in your quotation.
- Brand strategy and positioning
- Naming and Arabic/English wordmarks
- Logo, colours, typography and guidelines
- Copywriting and the marketing plan
- Coordinating suppliers and approvals
Physical and creative production that specialist suppliers deliver.
- Printing: cards, stationery, brochures
- Signage fabrication and installation
- Photography and video shoots
- Packaging samples and print runs
- Stock images, music and font licences
The budget that goes to the platforms that show your ads.
- Meta (Instagram, Facebook) and TikTok ads
- Google Search and YouTube ads
- LinkedIn campaigns
- Influencer or media placements
Items registered in your company's name, only when you need them.
- Domain, hosting and business email
- Website plugins and subscriptions
- UAE trademark filing (Ministry of Economy)
- Signage permits where required
What a branding quotation looks like
| Line | What it covers | Paid to |
|---|---|---|
| Tajnes creative fee | Strategy, identity, guidelines, plan and coordination | Tajnes (+5% VAT) |
| Print and signage | Business cards, shop-front or office sign, as quoted by the supplier | Supplier |
| Photo and video | Brand shoot for website and social media | Supplier |
| Ad budget | Monthly spend you set for each platform | Ad platforms |
| Domain and email | Yearly renewal in your company name | Provider |
| Trademark (optional) | Filing in one or more classes | Ministry of Economy and licensed agent |
Every line is listed in your written quotation before work starts. You approve each supplier quote first. VAT at 5% applies to the Tajnes fee only; suppliers, platforms and authorities charge their own fees and taxes. Tajnes fees are non-refundable. T&Cs apply.
Protecting your brand in the UAE
A licensed trade name does not by itself give you a registered trademark. Trademarks in the UAE are registered with the Ministry of Economy, and registration gives you stronger rights to stop others using a similar mark. It is a good idea to search before you finalise a name and to file early.
Names should not include religious terms, names of governments or offensive words, and some words need extra approval. We guide you through these points and work with licensed trademark agents for filings. This is general information, not legal advice.
Questions clients ask us
Can you help choose a company name?
Yes. We propose options and check them against UAE trade-name rules, domain availability and social handles before you apply.
Do I need an Arabic version of my brand?
Your trade name will have an Arabic version on the licence. A matching Arabic logo or wordmark helps on signage and with local clients.
Do you register trademarks?
We guide you and coordinate the filing through licensed trademark agents. Official fees are paid to the Ministry of Economy and shown separately.
How long does a brand identity take?
Usually three to six weeks, depending on the number of concepts and revisions agreed.
How is VAT charged?
VAT at 5% applies to the Tajnes service fee only. Authorities and suppliers charge their own fees and taxes.
Why is most of the cost the Tajnes fee?
Branding is creative and strategic work done by our team. Unlike company setup, there are few government fees. Printing, shoots, ads and registrations are always shown as separate lines.
Do you add a margin on ad spend?
We recommend running ads from your own ad account, so the platform bills you directly and you see every dirham spent. Our campaign management is part of the Tajnes fee.
Can I use my own printer or photographer?
Yes. We can prepare print-ready files and a creative brief for your supplier, or recommend suppliers we work with. You approve every supplier quote first.
Who owns the logo and designs?
Once the Tajnes fee is paid in full, the final approved designs are handed over for your company's use, as set out in your agreement. Third-party items such as stock images and fonts follow their own licence terms.
Is a trademark included?
Not automatically. Trademark filing is optional and has official fees from the Ministry of Economy and agent fees, listed separately if you choose it.
Do you handle social media every month?
Yes, through the Brand Growth scope: content calendar, design, copy, ad setup and monthly reporting.
